History created as in the last 48 years since 1975 this is the first time AAI has 3 Arjuna Awardees in one year.
Also, Maharashtra became the 1st State to get 2 Arjuna Awardees in one year and J&K got as 1st Arjuna Awardee.
This shows the growing popularity of Archery under the leadership of Hon’ble Shri Arjun Munda ji and Secretary General Shree Pramod Chandurkar ji and the performance post-Covid which is a record with 107 medals in 2023 and 201 medals in the last 3 years.
